This session will take voyagers on an adventurous journey to explore the ELA CAASPP Performance Tasks. We will introduce practical ways to engage students in these writing tasks using a systematic step-by-step process. Conversations among participants will be encouraged to exchange strategies and ideas for implementation. Teachers will sail away with a treasure trove of ideas to help students truly understand the structure of purposeful writing tasks, enhancing their skills with increased rigor and engagement to support the summative CAASPP assessment.
